Personally I wouldn't sell him for anything under £10 million, even for anything below £15 million I'd be tempted to keep him.
Watching him against Cardiff proved how valuable he is to us and I think he's by far our best wing-back, perhaps Gibbs is up there too but he's too injury prone which excludes him from comparing the two.

I just think on/off the ball he is so much better than our others. Having said that, I know he hasn't played much recently which may be due to the transfer speculation which is not good.

Failed medical

Heard the same earlier tonight.

No idea how true or on what grounds though.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

Hope he’s not failed the medical. He will be gutted and out of sorts and still find a way to leave us for next to nothing in the summer. Nothing personal but I want him to leave and the club be properly compensated almost more than I want signings to come in.

Has come from a good source apparently I'm not itk but someone I know told me yesterday he's failed, might be total bull but would make sense to the delay in announcement. Not sure how or what position that would leave him in now and also how/why he failed  (if he did)

Fingers crossed it all goes through. My first reaction when reading about him failing a medical was disappointment which probably tells me all I need to know about whether I would rather us keep him.

It's becoming a concern.

Rumour from Palace is his agent has gotten greedy and put a big agent fee in at the last minute and he has been told to Foxtrot Oscar.

Apparently, his agent is the same as Berahino's....

Gutted if he doesn't go now. Could use that money rather than him walk away for nothing.

Two rumours, one his agent, one a fitness issue which has stalled. I dont think hes going, hope he does though rather than him walking away for nothing.

He needs to tell his agent to foxtrot oscar and just sign a new deal even if he goes. He's meant to be a Baggie - do something for the club you supposedly love!

Palace have got loads of money left. Don't think that would be the issue. Probably still have him but will want a million or 2 off.

We got money regardless but it would definitely help us further strengthen the squad.

Be interesting to know what has caused the issues with his medical.

I'd be disappointed if he ended up back here.

If it meant he came back, took stock and signed a new deal then great. Frustrating for us to be so close to a deal though. In danger of losing him for peanuts now.

So would I, but here's the problem. He comes back and signs the deal, plays and makes 1 mistake and the fans will have him for it.

He won't sign a new deal even if it does all go belly up today for him. He will be off in the summer regardless and we will be short of a few million pounds. This deal has to get across the line, I do not want to see him back here now after all that has happened

Oh I know he won't sign, it was merely hypothetical  ;)
